I have a 2028 Eheim filter cartridge Can I put bags of carbon and neutralizing ammonia in the lower compartment? There is no alternative to the brand Eheim substrat PRO and biological material that goes under it? Thanks

You could use a mixture of activated carbon and ammonia in the removal of material, but would not be prudent. By doing this, you are depriving nitrifying bacteria to ammonia, which is simply delaying the cycle. This means that when the ammonia remover runs off the surface – and will – You'll then run in the levels of addition of ammonia, which will be remedied with more ammonia remover, or water changes. Of Either way, it is a bad idea, and water changes, just be a much simpler solution, which would mean cycle in a tank that handles nitrates for you to remove. Any brand of biological filter media work – something as simple as a bag of homemade pantyhose and pours sand will work to create a fluidized bed filters, loaded with bacteria. Crushed lava rock will serve a similar purpose, like any other brand Biomedia nameless.

Wonderful Rainbow $12.99 In case its unique brand of sonic assault and battery didn't leave you lying dead on the floor with your spleen poking halfway out your gaping mouth the first time around, Lightning Bolt is back for a second strafing run on your sense of mental and musical balance. Think you're up for it? Well, maybe you are, but only if you leave your volume knob down between two and three. It's hard to believe that all this noise is made by only a guitarist and a drummer, and it's sometimes even harder to believe that no electronic manipulation is involved. But however it is that they create this glorious ruckus, it's a sound that attracts at least as strongly as it repels, and there are a few tracks (let's not call them "songs," thank you) on Wonderful Rainbow that come perilously close to actually having hooks. The brilliant "Dracula Mountain," for example, with its heavily processed and thoroughly indecipherable vocals, or the equally baffling and wonderful "Assassins," both of which pummel and dance in equal measure. In fact, the only real misstep here is "Duel in the Deep," which clocks in at an eventually tedious six minutes. At its best, though, this album is like having a beautiful girl hit you repeatedly over the head with a baseball bat. Imagine all the best aspects of Fred Frith, Derek Bailey, the Ruins, Slayer, and Ornette Coleman all thrown into a blender together. Then imagine them on speed. This one's a keeper. ~ Rick Anderson

Live at the Rainbow 1977 [Import] $15.99 The Strapps weren't exactly dinosaurs; in fact, their debut album hit the shops in 1976, but that didn't stop the punks stomping them to death regardless. By 1978, the group were done in, strapped for cash, gigs, and a drummer, when Mick Underwood was pinched by Ian Gillan for his eponymous band. But in their two-year life-span, the group released four albums, undertook two major tours, the first supporting Deep Purple, the second Ian Gillan Band, and captured their 1977 set at London's Rainbow club for posterity on both tape and film. The Strapps certainly had a lot going for them, beginning, of course, with the fabulous rhythm section of veteran Underwood and young gun Joe Read. Beyond that pair there was their phenomenal keyboardist Noel Scott. An extremely versatile musician, Scott could splash out acid drenched passages, cathedral chords, and rollicking R&B barrelhouse piano at will, but rarely where one would expect to hear them. Aussie frontman Ross Stagg was all gruff vocals and smoking guitar, flicking out riffs and licks in a futile attempt to beat Scott to the spotlight. First, the definition of biomechanics – "The study of the action of external and internal forces in the living body, esp. In the skeletal system."

Either who has played this great game of golf knows intimately the external and internal forces in the body when the golf club.

Soon I realized the complexity, not only in the understanding of these internal and external forces in a sound golf swing, but also in dealing with these forces.

Distanced and easily distracted, Makoto's weird behavior -- particularly his habit of wandering off unannounced for days at a time -- finally takes its toll on his marriage. Meanwhile, Naoki and Kozue are left mute from the event, though they can communicate. The silent siblings' mother soon walks out of her marriage, and their father kills himself in a car wreck, leaving them alone in a large house with a substantial insurance check. Having found work at a construction company, Makoto's strange behavior starts to raise a few eyebrows, especially when he utterly ignores the advances of a comely office worker. Soon the village is rocked by news of murdered women washing up on a nearby river bank; Makoto's brother suspects him and asks him to leave their family house. He shows up on the doorstep of Naoki and Kozue's house, which has devolved into utter disrepair, and the trio forms a family of sorts. Their relative peace and order is upset by Akihiko (Yohichiroh Saitoh), the bumptious cousin from Tokyo on vacation from college who is insensitive to the trauma that the trio has endured and increasingly suspicious of the kids' ersatz guardian. His disapproval of Makoto grows when that same comely office work turns up dead, and Makoto is the prime suspect. Looking to break out of their routine, and cleared of murder charges, Makoto purchases an old bus and converts it into a camper. Taking his three housemates on an odyssey that begins at the site of the hijacking, they slowly start to reconcile the grief and pain that so destroyed their lives. Soap up in a bucket of "Spic and Span" or "Mr. Clean" (squeeze excess foam and water with a strainer that is sweeping in the bucket) walk backwards as you swing the mop strings and back on the floor, flop the mop into the bucket again move up and down to get more foam, then press out excess and wipe again. Rinse time soap empty bucket of cold water fill light, SOP MOP up and down then squeeze in dealio wringer, do it again to make sure they are gone for hours lather and rinse dry washing rather low round sweep over the washed areas.
