What kind of cartridge filter should I get?

I'm getting a 40 gallon tank of fish, and I'm not sure what kind of filter i bottle should receive. I can not power biowheel or filters and does not belong in the place I am putting the tank, what type and brand of cartridge filter should I make it effective and cheap thanks

The main thing is to get a good reliability, counting coins, not so much. Certainly not a bomb shell, but really what happens is what you get. No point in getting a price break soon, leaks or is performing poorly. You'll end up spending more to buy another. A very good filter can last years and ultimately saves money. Self priming is quite necessary unless you are curious to the taste of water from the aquarium! There should also be easily taps stop the flow of maintenance. Some have a pre-filter helps reduce blockages in the main filter. A wide range of accessories lets you customize the configuration your filter as you like. I personally vouch for Eheim. I find your filters very quiet (even at night), excellent filtration, reasonable price for this value and the high energy consumption from 5.8 watts for most models (some brands that use other 20-30 + watts for similar size filter). Its range is Classic well established but does not come with an auto-priming (no optional extras to help priming). The range has an integrated heater Professionel. A good choice for you is probably the range of Ecco Comfort, the 2234 is up to 60 gallons. Ecco Pro has a new range that features a pre-filter: 2034 is 30-60 gallons.
