How do I change the belt on a Dirt Devil breeze?
I borrowed from my father and told me that works, but needs a new belt. I have a 6 pack of replacement belts, but its been a year since I've used this machine and I can not remember how to open the damn thing to reach the area belt. Help! Thanks Tigger. It worked. Full is best. lol. Now I can vacuum. My vacuum I've used before an access panel just lift the lid. Looking at my Dirt Devil, I think I lost brain cells.
I do not know if it is empty like the others I've used. But if it is, you need a screwdriver small, probably a Phillips-head one. Put your machine to the Sweeper is up and locate the screws at the top. Extract. Make sure not to lose screws. After that, pick up the brush roll. The old belt should come with it. Remove the old tape and put the new one. This part can get tricky, especially when you put the roll back. After that, put the lid back on, and make sure the screws are tight. Good luck!
